Protect Loads with RIB® Prepackaged Circuit Breaker Switches

Tech Tuesday Protect Loads with RIB® Prepackaged Circuit Breaker Switches

It is always a good idea to protect your loads from short circuit and over current problems. However, sometimes your loads, transformers, or even your controllers do not come equipped with this necessary protection. You can protect the investment of your customers and electricians by installing circuit breakers. We offer prepackaged circuit breaker switches to help you do this.

Product features:

  • ON/OFF switch directly controls the protected load
  • Low voltage: 24 Vac, 4 Amp (PSMN24SB4) or 10 Amp (PSMN24SB10) circuit breaker
  • High voltage: 120 Vac, 4 Amp (PSMN01SB4) or 10 Amp (PSMN01SB10) circuit breaker
  • Mounting track included

As an example, PSMN24SB4 will give you protection for any 100VA load, including all your Class 2 needs. You can have total protection inside your panel, full of controllers, relays, timers and the like, for a fraction of the price to replace those products.

Don’t forget that Functional Devices offers a variety of panel mount relays, power supplies and current sensors to supplement your panel needs! The beauty of our prepackaged circuit breaker switches is that they can be mounted individually to the panel, or they can snap right next to all of your RIBMN series relays or PSMN power supplies. So really, the best decision would be to arrange your panels full of RIBs!
